Privacy policy

The Mix Fix ("we", "us") provides private mobile bartending services in Dallas Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and Los Angeles. This policy explains what we collect on themixfix.com and its quote tool, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to it.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, book an event, call, text, or email us, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email address, event type, event date, city and state, guest count, hours of service, bar open time, how you found us, the package and add ons you choose, and anything you tell us about your event. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies from Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta to understand how people use the site and to measure our advertising. These collect your device type, browser, pages viewed, approximate location, referring site, and advertising identifiers, and may match that activity to an account you hold with those companies. Our quote tool also records the campaign and click identifiers in the link that brought you here so we know which ad worked.

How we use it

To build your quote, reserve your date, plan and staff your event, send your agreement and invoices, answer your questions, and follow up before and after your event. To improve the site and our services. To show you relevant advertising and measure it. To comply with the law and protect our rights.

Text messages

When you give us your mobile number and request a quote or booking, you agree to receive text messages from The Mix Fix about your quote, your booking, and your event, including reminders, confirmations, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, and HELP for help. Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are never shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the business: our customer relationship and messaging platform (HighLevel), our payment processor (Stripe), our email and calendar providers, and our advertising and analytics providers (Google and Meta) as described above. Each is permitted to use your information only to provide its service to us. We share information with venues, planners, and vendors only as needed to run your event, and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep event and booking records for as long as needed to serve you, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and to handle any dispute, and we keep marketing contact information until you ask us to stop.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@themixfix.com. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's ad settings and Meta's ad preferences, and you can block cookies in your browser. Texts stop when you reply STOP. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it.

California residents

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California law, beyond the advertising measurement described above, which you can opt out of using the choices in the previous section. Security and children

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Our services involve alcohol and are intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes and contact
