Terms of service

These terms govern your use of themixfix.com and its quote tool, and your bookings with The Mix Fix. The service agreement you sign when you book controls your event; where these terms and your agreement differ, the agreement wins.

Quotes and bookings

Prices shown on the site are starting prices. The quote tool builds your price from the date, city, guest count, hours, package, and add ons you enter, and that price is held when you sign the service agreement and pay the $150 deposit. The deposit reserves your date. The balance is invoiced before the event and is due on the date shown on the invoice. Changes to guest count, hours, package, or add ons may change the price, and we confirm every change in writing.

Cancellations and changes

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms are set out in your service agreement. Package upgrades are available until two weeks before the event, and later where the calendar allows.

Alcohol

We do not sell alcohol. You purchase the alcohol for your event and it remains yours. Our bartenders serve what you provide, serve only guests of legal drinking age, and may decline to serve any guest who appears intoxicated or who cannot show valid identification when asked. We may pause or end service if the safety of our staff or your guests requires it. You are responsible for complying with your venue's rules and with the laws that apply to serving alcohol at your event.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate event details, a safe and suitable space for the bar with access for load in and load out, access to water and power where the package requires it, and the alcohol on the shopping list we send. You are responsible for your guests' conduct and for any damage to our equipment caused by your guests or your venue.

Our responsibilities

We provide trained, insured bartenders who are our employees, the bar setup, supplies, and service described in your package, arrival before service to set up, and cleanup of the bar area after. If an event cannot be served as agreed because of weather, venue restrictions, or circumstances outside our control, we will work with you to reschedule or adjust the service.

Text messages

By providing your mobile number you agree to receive text messages about your quote, booking, and event. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. See our privacy policy for details.

Website use

The content, design, logos, and photographs on this site belong to The Mix Fix and may not be copied or reused without permission. The site is provided as is; we work to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee it will be error free or uninterrupted. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from your booking is limited to the amount you paid us for the event, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
